Project Summary

Cake had rejected countless treatments for “Mustache Man” before director Alicia J. Rose hit the mark with her wild vision to mix elements of “Repo Man”, “Saturday Night Fever” and “Buckaroo Banzai”. With help from some of Portland’s finest improv actors (and mustachioed extras), she wove a visually vibrant and otherworldly storyline utilizing in-camera effects, professional choreography and interstellar art-direction that made this a million+ views hit with fans.
