Dashin’ Mike prepares to leave his hometown of Tomah, WI on a 123 day trek across the continental US. Over 10,000 miles lie ahead of him as he reflects on his motivations and fears, and says his goodbyes.

“It’s starting to feel a little surreal now”

We join Dashin’ Mike somewhere in the Midwest, where he is making his first deliveries and meeting some amazing people along the way. One leap of faith leads to another and Mike gets the chance to soar through the skies before continuing his 123 day trek across the contiguous 48 states.

“Today was big. Today was a really big day for me.”

When Dashin’ Mike left home to travel cross-country for over 123 days, he knew it would be a difficult journey. Mike quickly makes new friends wherever he goes, but traveling solo often leaves him missing his family and friends back home. Feelings of loneliness and doubt are quickly washed away when Mike is invited to the series’ sponsor’s headquarters in San Francisco where he is welcomed with cheers, chants, and open arms.

“I just follow wherever feels right, ya know?”

Dashin’ Mike aka Mike Baumbach has made it all the way to the East Coast on his 123 day 30,000+ mile trek across the contiguous USA. A stop in New York gives him a chance to catch up with a loved one and of course he had a Philly in Philly. But now a serious issue with his car might mean the end for Mike’s journey…

After 107 days, thousands of miles, and hundreds of deliveries, Dashin’ Mike aka Mike Baumbach faces a hurdle in his journey of self-discovery when his trusty Kia needs a new spark plug. But with only 12 states left to visit and 16 days on the road, Mike has all the motivation he needs to get back to Tomah, WI in one piece.

After his last delivery, Mike reflects on his journey before returning home to his family in Tomah to hugs and a home-cooked meal.
